Why regionalisation matters

As an innovation hub and research center, OPORA Foundation, together with Empatia Program, works at the intersection of data, research, and solution-building. Through our regionalisation approach, we study how mental health support systems function locally, identify the barriers people face in accessing care, and develop solutions that improve access to mental health support.

Local insight

We map how support systems function in specific regions and identify local needs, gaps, and barriers to care.

Stronger coordination

Regionalisation helps connect organisations, professionals, and stakeholders around a more shared understanding of local realities.

Better access to care

By understanding barriers on the ground, we can support more relevant, accessible, and context-specific mental health responses.
